What Made Me Join MA?

It's a very good question. I joined MA about a month ago. My friend Wendy has been bugging me for 2 years about this "great business plan" that makes everybody rich. At the time, I was working full time as an engineer, my first born just arrived, and I was going through an MBA school. She had been inviting me to seminars and conferences, and claimed that I would join right away if I could attend one of those since the hosts could fully explain what the business model is. Where was I going to find time for it? Honestly, I was not really interested in MLM which only people at the top makes the most money anyways (Boys, was it wrong on that one?)

Anyways, fastward to Feb 2010, my wife was in a lot of stress due to her work, and had been complaining about it. Wendy had given me a lot of info on a product called OPC-3 in the past. By looking into it again, we were willing to try it out. If it works, that's great! If it doesn't work, I would only be down by $70.

It's gonna take another blog to describe OPC-3, but here, I'd just discuss about my results. My wife hasn't noticed the change, but I have. She complains less and seems to be more energy at night time. We need all the energy we have to take care of our 2-yr old son. For those who are parents, you know how much energy it takes to deal with terrible 2's. As for me, I used to have this right shoulder pain. The pain is probably due to poor posture at work. After 2 weeks, the pain had drastically decreased. Now, I am pain free.

Anyhow, I started showing interest in the business plan, and found a lot of things said about MA. Honestly, I didn't trust Wendy on what she said about the business. In my mind, she was just trying to recruit me. So, I started doing my own research. I found the business plan, how each member would make money, on youtube. (you can search for it or ask me for the links). It looked really promising, and it's different than traditional MLM which only top people makes the money. How the business works? That deserves another blog. According to what I found on the web, MA wasn't a scam, but it might not be for everyone. So, I was more curious about it.

Wendy arranged a meeting for me with Qian and Sandy. Qian was going over how the money is made. Since I already knew that, I wasn't really listening. After 15 min, she needed to conduct a training class (Another blog will be for training in the future). She asked Sandy to continue explaining (or selling) the business plan to me.

Sandy seemed to be in her mid or late 40's, an immigrant speaking with accent. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Sandy told me that her full time job is running a daycare, and she has been working with MA for 7 years. Now, she's earning more than $10 a month, much more than her upline, Qian. I don't what else she told me, but she inspired me. I was sold. If she could do it, I could probably do better, right?

A few days later, I signed up without actually knowing some of the details (for better or worse). Of course, I had doubts after signing up! Buyer's remorse, right?

If I knew what I know now, I would probably hesitate to sign up. Now, it's been about a month, I like it more and more, and I believe in it more and more. (More blogs follow...)

What Is This Blog About?

I wanted to share with everyone about my market America adventure experience. I also wanted to track my progress for those who might be interested. I, for one, am interested.

I hope through out this blog, people like you will find out some answers to your questions from my experience.
